The client required an app for the most lifelike virtual cycling experience. They wanted an app that could connect with most ANT hardware and display the Google Street View. The user must be able to experience a sense of forward motion with each pedal as the street view would move ahead.
To provide the perfect cycling experience, the app must connect with the ANT hardware on the cycling apparatus.
#Upon connection, the app must be able to gather precise cycling data like distance, speed and time of cycling from the session.

We developed the app from the ground up to meet the client’s requirements and tackled the challenge of connecting the device with the app. Within the app, we offer various tours for cyclists, including predefined routes and Free-route options. For the predefined routes, the app stored the history. Users could view street views, map views, navigation instructions, and their current location on the same screen. In the Free-route mode, users could select any location on the map where street views are available and begin their ride. Navigation instructions and street view arrows guide the rider along predefined routes. If the rider deviates from the intended path, an option is available to navigate back to the correct route
Our developers studied market status and audience response to understand and create a one-of-a-kind solution. Each feature adds to the quality of the app and creates a cohesive environment. This enables users to freely interact with Cycling Simulation and exploit its capabilities.
These allow users to select from a list of routes to traverse with navigation instructions. Pre-defined routes can be timed to assist users train for professional competitions.
It allows users to cycle around through the streets on undefined paths. This is mostly for leisurely cycling and users can save their traversed routes for the future.
The app provides navigation instructions and street view arrows to guide the cyclists. If a cyclist deviates from the route, the app can guide them back to the correct route.
Users also have the ability to set timed laps on the routes of their choice or they can start timer during free-roam as well.
